Bongino Resignation Rumors Follow Sandy Hook Court Filing
On July 1, 2025, Dr. James Fetzer filed an affidavit for declaratory judgment with the court against Bit Chute and Rumble for neglecting to enforce their contracts to protect users from unlawful and otherwise prohibited speech. The filing followed a deluge of cease and desist orders from Fetzer who is in the process of appealing his Sandy Hook defamation judgment and bringing forth new that an event the federal government portrayed as “the worst school shooting in American history” was a FEMA drill used as a pretext to pass gun control legislation and generate billions of dollars in government contracts. “We know (there was) a business plan to make money off Sandy Hook,” Infowars host Alex Jones affirmed.
The most prominent organization to exploit the Sandy Hook shooting is Sandy Hook Promise, an organization established by families who professed to have lost children. To this day, the organization continues to rake in money hand-over-first. In the fiscal year ending June 2024, for example, Sandy Hook Promise reported $26.1 million in revenue – a significant portion of which supports the Bongino-inspired Know the Signs program.
A successful appeal of his defamation judgment and public acknowledgment of his evidence would throw a wrench in the efforts of those who have sought to exploit the shooting for political and financial gain, not to mention the liabilities that would follow.
Within a week of Fetzer's filing, Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino announced his possible resignation from Trump Administration. Suddenly he had become a liability.
The timing was curious as was the excuse.
Bongino claimed that he and Attorney General Pam Bondi had fallen out the Jeffrey Epsetin pedophile scandal.
While Bongino had aggressively demanded accountability on the Epstein pedophile scandal as a podcaster, once he joined the Trump Administration, he towed the establishment line.
The former Secret Service agent for the Obama Administration, is a major investor in Rumble, an alternative media platform that allows, condones, and promotes the weaponization of free speech against independent voices, like those of Fetzer and his colleagues, for the purposes of discrediting, deplatforming, and silencing anyone who challenges the official Republican narrative.
To get a sense of what passes for “free speech” in the free speech absolutism culture of Bit Chute and Rumble, just search for “Jim Fetzer” and “Victor Hugo” in the search engines of these platforms. Hundreds of videos will appear accusing or associating Fetzer and associates with venereal diseases, pedophilia, incest, bestiality, homosexuality, treason, among various crimes they did not commit. Prominently, Vaca juxtaposes Fetzer's face with a painting of male genitalia.
These labels were heaped upon Fetzer and his colleagues, not once, but repeatedly, day after day, sometimes multiple times a day for seven months, as part of a campaign to “discredit” their reporting of Sandy Hook.
Fetxxer and his colleagues have been doxxed, with private emails posted, at times rewritten and taken out of context while the leading perpetrator of this defamation campaign, “Maverick Artist” Victor Hugo Vaca had attempted to mobilize a free speech campaign on Bit Chute and Rumble to defend his right to defame Fetzer and affiliated researchers by appealing to Rumble for support.
The campaign apparently violates Rumble and Bit Chute's terms of service and the law on multiple accounts, and yet despite being notified, both platforms have allowed the abuses to continue.
Curiously, Vaca has claimed that Fetzer is attempting to silence him for “naming the Jew” and criminalize free speech.
Two weeks after Fetzer's filings, another podcaster, and friend of Vaca's, “The Son of Enos” was ostensibly arrested in Canada for anti-semitic speech. Vaca is now helping raise money for “Son of Enos” through GiveSendGo while Rumble still hosts the channel which posts videos with such titles as “God Hates the Jews.”
A closer look at the dynamics reveals curious financial and political interests surrounding Sandy Hook Promise, Bongino, the Trump Administration, and many others, reflecting that the real agenda behind “free speech absolutism” is the weaponization of free speech and pushing boundaries of laws, civility, and appropriateness to silence, deplatform, and discredit independent voices speaking truth to power.
Free Speech Absolutism
What is “free speech absolutism” exactly? Both Bit Chute and Rumble employ free speech absolutism as the standard for discourse on their platforms – that anything goes. Free speech absolutism is a leading cause célèbre championed by Jeffrey Wernick, a major investor in Bit Chute, as revealed in the following interview with Laura Loomer, a longstanding political ally whose political campaigns Wernick has financed:

In this interview, Wernick reveals that Bit Chute and Rumble coordinate with each other across platforms to advance political agendas. “I've called on (Facebook/META CEO) Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, take the same stand on Bit Chute (to) appeal on all platforms,” he told Loomer.
Facebook/META is a Sandy Hook Promise corporate partner while Wernick is Bongino's business partner in the free speech space.
“I'm taking the fight (to protect free speech) on myself, and ... if we act together, every platform acts together, we can beat these laws. If we don't act together, the laws will beat us."
Loomer, in turn, advises President Donald Trump on media engagement and weighs in on the Administration's personnel decisions.
Vaca, who epitomizes the free speech absolutist culture, frequently references Wernick's arguments for free speech absolutism, without naming Wernick specifically, to justify his unlawful speech.
Bit Chute and Rumble are the “only free speech absolutist platforms,” Loomer told Wernick.
Vaca has pointed out Loomer's free speech hypocrisy in which free speech is weaponized against political targets to suppress the latter's voices.
The U.S. Constitution established parameters in which freedom could be exercised, as reinforced by the U.S. Supreme Court. Once cannot yell “fire” in a theater, for example. Casting individuals in a false light or publicly accusing them of crimes they did not commit falls into the territory of prohibited speech and defamation per se, particularly when done with malicious intent.
Free speech absolutism isn't a counter to political correctness but license for verbal abuse and defamation.
Bongino's Free Speech Fiends and Sandy Hook Promise
Bongino appears to have a vested interest in controlling the narrative surrounding the Sandy Hook shooting. Notably, right after the incident took place, Bongino offered his expertise as a former Secret Service agent, on how to “recognize the signs” of a potential school shooter, as seen on Dr. Rich Swier's blog:

Recognizing the signs of potential shooters is the basis upon which Sandy Hook Promise was established.
Among the corporate partners of Sandy Hook Promise is Uber, a company in which Wernick was an angel investor. Uber, in turn, partners with United Way, a financial contributor to Sandy Hook Promise.
United Way of Western Connecticut (UWWC) established the Sandy Hook School Support Fund (SHSSF) in partnership with Newton Savings Bank to provide immediate and long-term assistance to the community in connection with the Sandy Hook shooting.
UWWC and Newtown Savings Bank raised over $3.5 million within the first two weeks, with total donations reaching $7.6 million by January 2013.
Sandy Hook Promise and the Trump Administration
Bongino is now Deputy FBI Director under President Donald Trump who signed STOP School Violence into law, granting $1 billion to an initiative co-founded by Sandy Hook Promise.
The initiative was based upon Bongino's 2012 recommendations on “how to recognize the signs” to “prevent another Sandy Hook.”
Trump Administration Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, who played a significant role in taking Rumble public, presides over a key federal agency involved in funding initiatives related to Sandy Hook Promise.
The official Sandy Hook narrative was originally by Infowars, one of the most highly trafficked news platforms which subsequently launched Bongino's social media career.
As a frequent contributor to Infowars, Bongino challenged the government's official narrative around Sandy Hook as part of an effort to “own the libs” during the Obama Administration.
In 2018, Bongino hosted a short-lived show on NRA-TV for the National Rifle Association. According to documents obtained by ThinkProgress, the NRA invested $14.5 million in public relations efforts to promote gun sales in response to the Obama Administration's gun grab. The investment resulted in a surge in membership and heightened media activity.
Around the same time, Newsweek reported that Loomer “worked with Infowars, which has spread false claims about the shooting, asserting it was a hoax.”
Three years later, Bongino launched The Dan Bongino Show in which he quickly became the most recognized and followed host on Rumble.
Exploiting the falsehoods surrounding Sandy Hook was financially and professionally rewarding for alt-media personalities until the establishment pushed back.
In 2019, a Wisconsin jury awarded $450,000 in damages against Fetzer for defamation in connection to his reporting on Sandy Hook – a verdict affirmed in the Wisconsin Court of Appeals in 2021.
Three years later, the Sandy Hook families successfully sued Jones, securing defamation judgments exceeding $1.5 billion. By some estimations, the defamation suits against Jones was choreographed –as the Infowars host may have acknowledged himself.
In a video posted on Bit Chute on May 30, 2025, Jones said that his defamation trials amounted to two HBO “staged show trials in Austin, Texas and up in Connecticut …all perfectly coordinated for the trials, all perfectly coordinated.”
If the trials were choreographed, who directed them?All roads appear to lead to Sandy Hook Promise given that HBO is owned by Warner Brothers-Discovery, a Sandy Hook Promise corporate partner.
Jones then attempted to retain his credibility and save his platform by distancing himself from his own reporting on Sandy Hook. On December 10, 2023, Jones appeared on X with Musk and Loomer to retract his statements while blaming them on “all these professors … saying they believed it was a drill. I simply covered them covering that.”
Among the professors to which he alluded was Fetzer.
Vaca's Defamation Campaign
On his show, Vaca has expressed his desire to “expose Fetzer's treason” with regards to Sandy Hook for the purposes of “bringing down (President Barack) Obama,” reflecting a political agenda aligned with Bongino's – that of “owning the libs.”
While targeting Fetzer, Vaca has made comments like “(Alex) Jones knows about me” and that Fetzer is a “gnat,” who is “in the way” of “what Jones is trying to do.”
“Jim (Fetzer) should have done what Alex Jones has done,” Vaca said.
Among the sources Vaca enlisted as an “authority” to discredit Fetzer over Sandy Hook is Todd Callender, an attorney and Infowars contributor.

In the “Veteran Victor Hugo” campaign, Vaca admits to relying upon “mercenaries, snipers, and CIA who anonymously share information with me knowing that I will use satire and through the Modern Art Music Movement podcast get the information out to the public.”
In February of 2025 when the defamation against Fetzer started, Bit Chute's General Counsel, Michael Ellis, left Bit Chute to join the Trump Administration as Deputy Director of the CIA.
GiveSendGo, the Platforms, and Sandy Hook
Fetzer and his team have notified GiveSendGo (GSG) that Vaca is using the money he raises through its platform to support defamation and harassment against him over Sandy Hook. Examples of the harassment have been provided.
This self-professed Christian fundraising platform, which can cancel any campaign at its discretion, defends Vaca's campaign to smear Sandy Hook researchers by falsely accusing them of pedophilia, incest, homosexuality, treason, spreading venereal disease, and being “disinfo agents.”
Notably, Bongino partners with GiveSendGo to raise money for legal defense campaigns, including, for example, the Kyle Rittenhouse defense fund and Daniel Penny legal defense fund, which Bongino promoted on Fox News and on The Dan Bongino Show.
In 2022, Bongino exploited GoFundMe's decision to freeze the assets of the Canadian Freedom Convoy to promote GiveSendGo as part of his “parallel economy.”
Funding for the truckers was redirected from GoFundMe to GiveSendGo.
When GiveSendGo faced a DdoS (distributed denial of service) attack during the Freedom Convoy campaign, Rumble offered engineering support and even hosted GiveSendGo content on its servers.
Wernick has partnered with Bongino as co-founder and key architect of Parallel Economy, the payment-processing platform created in 2021 for a “censor-resistant ecosystem” to provide independent financial infrastructure for creators who fear deplatforming or being blacklisted by mainstream payment providers.
Rumble invested in Parallel Economy, designating it as their preferred processor to help circumvent “cancel culture.”
GiveSendGo provides a fundraising platform for OMG/Project Veritas' “investigative journalism” – whose guerrilla tactics are informed by Blackwater founder Erik Prince and which employed Loomer as a “guerrilla journalism.”
Prince, in turn, attempted to exploit the Sandy Hook shooting to secure millions of dollars in government contracts to provide armed security to schools across the nation.
On August 26, 2024, Bongino and Prince appeared together at a House Republican forum hosted and organized by Rep. Matt Gaetz, who participated in the December 10, 2023 discussion on X in which Jones retracted his statements on Sandy Hook, with Loomer present and in which Fetzer's research was referenced.

As the ADL reported, “After the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook elementary school, Jones made widespread claims that the tragedy was a government-orchestrated hoax and that the victims’ parents were crisis actors. Several of these parents eventually sued Jones or his accusations, and a judge officially found him liable for defamation. (In) anticipation of losing his platform and his funding, (he) chose GiveSendGo."
In October of 2022, Jones livestreamed his Connecticut jury verdict while encouraging his audience to donate to him through GiveSendGo to cover the costs of the judgment.
Sandy Hook Promise: Not so Child-Friendly

Sandy Hook Promise professes to protect children, and yet, some of its corporate partners arguably harm them.
For example, Treering, is a Silicon Valley-based technology company that creates web-based year books, potentially creating opportunities for predators to gain access to student pictures online.
Warner Brothers Discovery, another partner, is a global media and entertainment company which has provided platforms for children’s television associated with child abuse, as reported in the docuseries, Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.
For over a century, General Dynamics, has produced weapons for governments worldwide that have been used to maim and kill hundreds of thousands of innocent children. In fact, its profits are derived from the taking of human life.
In 2018, General Dynamics was implicated in an attack on the Yemeni school bus in which innocent children were killed. The use of General Dynamics weapons to target a school bus was so egregious and morally reprehensible that members of California State Teachers' Retirement System (CalSTRS), the largest educator-only pension fund in the world, demanded that its pension divest from the defense contractor over what they described as “a brazen disregard for the sanctity of human life."
Meanwhile, as Deputy FBI Director, Bongino serves in an Administration blocking accountability on the Jeffrey Epstein pedophile scandal while Sandy Hook Promise corporate partners traffic children.
General Dynamics has, for example, received government contracts to provide “social services” for migrant children held in U.S. detention camps.
The company offers training for for-profit prisons managed by Geo Group, which Bondi, Bongino’s boss, represented as lobbyist for Ballard Partners, a leading fundraiser for Trump political campaigns.
Geo Group processes the children crossing the border.
Bongino is working alongside Bondi to implement Trump's law enforcement agenda.
Through these channels, drugs and gangs have flooded into the United States, in turn, posing a threat to the nation's children by way of trafficking drugs, guns, and people across the border and spreading crime into American communities.
General Dynamics’ Electric Boat subsidiary in Groton, Connecticut – the nation's premier maker of submarines – has reportedly trafficked "unaccompanied minors" illegally over the U.S.-Mexico border, including children caught up in Trump's "zero tolerance" policy of separating families.
Trafficked children create opportunities for government contractors to profit, generating a windfall for politically-connected insiders.
The Electric Boat is a major player in Connecticut's network of defense industries.
Sheltering migrant children is a multi-billion dollar business. For example, the Department of Health and Human Services awarded billions of dollars in grants through the Office of Refugee Resettlement, to resettle immigrants arriving from countries like Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras where families are being moved off land to make way for Smart Cities, led by technocrat Peter Thiel, an investor in Rumble and Parler, in which Wernick and Bongino are major investors.
In 2021, Thiel, Vice President J.D. Vance invested in Rumble through Narya Capital, a Cincinnati-based venture capital firm co-founded by Vance.
Thiel just happens to be a leading financial backer of Vivek Ramaswamy, who participated in the 2023 discussion on X with Musk, Jones, and Loomer on Sandy Hook.
The Sandy Hook shooting crisis promoted public expenditures for juvenile detention centers which received millions of dollars in grants, supported by taxpayers. These same facilities have faced allegations of abuse from the children detained as part of a human trafficking operation supported by the federal government.
The Cayuga Centers, a New York nonprofit where hundreds of separated children were sent, has received more than $115 million in grants since 2014.
While Vaca has cast Fetzer in the false light of “treason,” HP Foundation, another Sandy Hook corporate partner, collaborates with government contractors to exploit “disasters” for profit. The foundation is the philanthropic arm of Hewlett Packard, a tech company that distributes Lenovo computers on behalf of Communist China, which engages in human rights abuses and supports an agenda to disarm Americans.
Disasters Translate into Lucrative Contracts
While the official Sandy Hook narrative contradicts Fetzer's characterization of the Sandy Hook shooting as a FEMA drill, a Sandy Hook Promise corporate partner employs personnel who have coordinated military and civilian agencies during FEMA drills.
The Roosevelt Group’s Executive Insight Brief follows FEMA hearings on Capitol Hill and publishes reports the on billions of dollars in appropriations released to government contractors in times of “tragedy.”
The Roosevelt Group bills itself as "brokers between Capitol Hill, the Pentagon, and broader government (who) craft and execute government relations strategies."
Among the constituents of the Roosevelt Group are military installations and homeland security. Its leaders consist of top former military brass, members of the Department of Defense, NASA, ilitary intelligence, and the National Guard.
At least some of Roosevelt’s advisors have presided over National Emergency Management Activity, including the National Continuity Emergency Planning Programs that focus on logistical and supply chain support in the event of emergencies.
Roosevelt's advisors “advise corporations on potential new business opportunities” and facilitate meetings between federal officers within the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security while forging strategic commercial partnerships.
One of Roosevelt's advisors boasts “extensive knowledge of the legislative and appropriations process gained by working on more than a dozen appropriations acts, including the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act," which doled out nearly $831 billion between 2009 and 2019.
Founded in March of 2012, just months before the Sandy Hook shooting, the Roosevelt Group is a one-stop shop for defense and homeland security consulting and advocacy in Washington, DC.
The “Arrest” of Son of Enos
In the face of unrelenting harassment, defamation, and smears on Bit Chute and Rumble, Fetzer has appealed to the local law enforcement for intervention.
Vaca has retaliated by falsely accusing Fetzer of trying to arrest him for “naming the Jew” and that Fetzer is attempting to suppress free speech on Bit Chute and Rumble – which, in Vaca's case, amounts to defaming, slandering, harassing, and promoting the deplatforming of independent voices on Sandy Hook.
Vaca then released Fetzer's driving record and falsely characterized his traffic citations as “arrests.”
By now Bit Chute and Rumble have received Fetzer's cease and desist notices and affidavits for default judgment, but Vaca has shown no signs of relenting nor has either platform moved to enforce its contracts with regards to unlawful and prohibited speech.
Within a week of Fetzer's filing for declaratory judgment against Bit Chute and Rumble, Bongino abruptly announced he might resign from the Trump Administration.
With weeks before the deadline, podcaster “Son of Enos” was “arrested” over anti-Semitic hate speech, which Bit Chute and Rumble curiously permit, condone, and encourage.
The Son of Enos goes by the name of “Kenan.”
Kenan's real name is Kenneth Paulin.
Vaca is working with Kenan's mother, Dianne Paulin, to promote a GivesendGo campaign for her son, who has already raised nearly $50,000 for his podcast in which the mother is listed as the recipient of funds.

The mother's appeal to Vaca is curious given that she is a former forensics nurse in North Bay, Ontario, which means she worked closely with the very law enforcement division that arrested her son.
In a public statement, Vaca warned: “They are coming for all of us for noticing, so we must unite. It's now or never.”
There is far more to this story that meets the eye. The public is waking up and “noticing” that the federal government has failed to serve its constituents in good faith.
Bongino must decide where his loyalties lie. If he cannot serve the Republic as an honest broker, he should resign. Next on is agenda should be to work with Wernick to re-envision Bit Chute and Rumble as platforms that foster communities that support a genuine, truthful, and respectful exchange of ideas and truth to empower the people and foster honest discourse that holds power to account. If their agenda is simply to amplify propaganda from the right and obfuscate the truth while condoning the abuse of users who dare challenge official narratives then they have failed in their mission to defend “free speech.”
